Documentary filmmaker, Cengiz Ercan made a film about the story of three very unique MMA fighters. The story looked into why they each fight. When he asked us to create a title frame for his film, it was a great opportunity to delve into a typographic approach that took inspiration from the rich graphic design history of fighting posters.
We created this bespoke piece of type design for the main titles and name screens of each fighter, adding a splash of chalk exploding from the letters.
